help make the moving process as easy as possible, permit us
to share with you some important guidelines. please take the time and read our moving tips page.
Preparing for Your Local or Interstate Move
- Please have your copy of the job estimate summary available
at the time of the move and review it to make sure that
all of your issues are addressed.
- Any changes in the date of the move should be approved
by Spirit Relocation in advance to avoid additional charges.
Please contact us if circumstances change.
- In order for us to plan effectively, please inform us
of any obstacles or limited access that may impede our ability
to load and / or unload your belongings.
- Please note that our company will not charge for going
up and / or down one flight of stairs. Charges may be made
for multiple flights of stairs.
- Like other reputable moving companies, we follow department
of transportation's requirment for insurance. In case you
are interested to aquire additional insurance please do
not hesistate to talk to your sales representive who can
guide you. In many cases, your homeowners insurance will
cover your household items while they are in transit.
- Please note that the price that was quoted to you is based
on the input that you provided to us concerning your belongings.
Additional or different items may affect the total price.
- All payments (not including the initial payment) should
be made by cash, cashiers check or postal money order.
Protecting Your Possessions
- If you choose to pack your own belongings, please protect
them by packing to prevent damages when they are moved.
Your local hardware store usually has material available
to cushion and protect your goods. We can also arrange for
you to receive packing supplies.
- The movers will have packing and wrapping supplies/materials available for purchase. However, in some cases additional work, such as packing or wrapping will be added to the price of your move.
- Goods that are not packed properly may be damaged during
a move. If you have valuable goods and want the best pack
and insurance protection, allow our professional movers
to pack and box them.
After the Move
- Please review the receipt that the mover provides.
- We plan and expect the move to proceed smoothly, but if there are any issues, please contact our Customer Service Department at (303) 806-6683 if you have any difficulties during or after your move. We will do our best to address the issue.
